Soto Betawi Haji Mamat – Jl. Pahlawan Seribu, BSD Accross Suzuki car showroom

In the area Jl.Pahlawan Seribu there is a pleasant Soto House close by the workshop where one of our team mates typically go to enhanced his car. So while waiting to get his car get fix, he went to Soto Betawi Haji Mamat to have his breakfast. The place is recommended for you have never eaten Soto in that area before. You wouldn’t regret making a trip there because the taste of the Soto is extremely delicious.

Soto Betawi Haji Mamat specialized in Soto Betawi, they use coconut milk for the broth. The soup is creamy, and has a unique taste, compare to other Soto places in the previous blog. There are variety of Soto meat that can you can select from the menu such as Soto with just meat or Soto with mix meat which includes (intestine and other parts of the beef). The place is very crowded if you come at lunch time, sometimes you have to wait for awhile if you want to eat there, but it is all worth the wait. My team mate was lucky he went there for breakfast, the place was not so full then, but it was starting to overflow with customer.

The meal that was ordered was Soto with only meat, it fulfills his breakfast in the morning. The taste of the soup is very appetizing; the meat was really tender and juicy. The soup also contains potatoes, and tomatoes that compliments well with the velvety soup and it also add more sour and sweetness to the broth. As for the beverage the place has many types of cold and hot drinks such as tea and soft drinks. The price of the food is very affordable, especially for students’ and workers’. A large space for parking is provided there, so you don’t have to worry about where to place your transportation!
