Ta wan is pretty well-known as a Chinese restaurant in existing mall all over Jakarta. One of our team members went there with his college friends. They wanted to eat Chinese food, and so they went to Ta Wan restaurant, where they consider the price very affordable and serve great tasting food.
As they went inside the restaurant they soon feel very comfortable. The restaurant has a Chinese theme, and there are many sofa chair and big size tables. The ambiance is Chinese modern restaurant with sofa which makes it very cozy. The place is also superior, especially when you dine with a big family, for they have large round tables that can fit many people.
The food that they order will be our recommendation, because all the food that is order taste really satisfying. The food are li hong kie shrimp roll, beef with black pepper sauce, seafood sapo tofu, and fried enoki mushroom. Li hong kie shrimp roll taste great and is the favorite in the restaurant, it texture is crunchy at the outside and the inside is the soft minced shrimp smothered with mayonnaise. As the fried enoki mushroom brings back memories in China. At Ta Wan you can also order porridge, which is their main dishes and the size of the porridge is enormous, similar like the portion in China.
The price of the food is not expensive around Rp30, 000 per dish, as for the porridge is around Rp.20,000. When one of the team members dine in there the total bill is only about Rp150, 000. Which is very affordable.
